Şura Aydın

Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist

She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Boğaziçi University and received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Gelişim University. Throughout her training and career, she took part in various social responsibility projects. As part of the European Solidarity Corps, she worked in Finland on a project focusing on NEET (not in education, employment, or training) youth and cultural diversity.

 

During her clinical training, she completed internships at several counseling centers, worked as a clinical psychologist, facilitated workshops, and took part in psychodrama groups as a facilitator. Her areas of interest include grief and bereavement, anxiety-related difficulties, challenges in mentalizing and making sense of inner experiences, relational struggles, and the emotional and relational impact of trauma and violence.

She continues her individual psychoanalysis and participates in professional seminars, workshops, and supervision groups. She is currently enrolled in Psychodrama training within the Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Associations Federation. She is also a volunteer at the Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation, contributing to psychological support work.

She practices within a psychoanalytic framework and offers psychotherapy in Kadıköy. Sessions are available in both Turkish and English.
